Humpty
The earth trembles
You stand firm in place
Troubles you not this catastrophe
You smile and ask if I am okay?
Okay?
Can't you see I wait for death!
You ask, are you okay in a soothing tone?
It doesn't have to be
The Army shall come!
Little white shilouted men
Shall put you back together again.
Sure they will!
As I sit in agony
Your care has not subdued the pain I feel.
The ledge upon where I sit, has long since broken.
Fear not for they will come,
They have heard your cries
And they shall wipe away your tears.
They will put Humpty Dumpty back together
AGAIN.
