Each Day - poem

Each Day
The world gets harder each day
As my life is stripped away
I see the darkness coming
And I am to blame
The feelings in my heart and to hard to part
I look to the future and only see the past
And I wish upon the hope of the dawning new day
But how can I say with what lies within me
That this dream is swiftly falling away
The topic at hand may seem risky to play
And you look to me for answers
But I have none,
My heart too is just like you
Drowning in this confusion.
